And our Oscar goes to...

-

WE’RE JUST days away from all the glitz and glamour of the Oscars. We haven’t seen all the movies, but we’ve seen enough to predict the winners. So here you have it, our official Oscar picks. Lock them in the vault and thank us when you win your office pool. Best Picture:

KLG: I think it’s going to be “The Revenant.”

HK: I’m going “Spotlight” — a much better film, in my opinion.

KLG: I thought “Spotlight” was excellent. And I really liked “Room” — it was heart- - breaking. But I think “The Revenant” is going to win, even though I haven’t seen it. I just can’t stomach all that gore. My son Cody said it was fantastic but that it was too violent for me. Best Actor: KLG: It’s Leo’s year. HK: I’m going with Eddie Redmayne in “The Danish Girl.”

KLG: That would mean a repeat from last year — he won last year for “The Theory of Everything.” Best Actress: KLG: I think it’s going to be Brie Larson for “Room,” she

was amazing.

HK: I’m going with her too. I think she’s got it locked up. Best Supporting Actor: KLG: I loved Mark Rylance in “Bridge of Spies.” It wasn’t a showy role, though, so I’m going to go with Christian Bale in “The Big Short.”

HK: It’s going to be Sly Stallone. He’s the hometown favorite. Who doesn’t love him?

Supporting actress:a

KLG: I thought Alicia Vikander was fantastic in “The Danish Girl.” I’m going with her.

HK: I didn’t see the movie, but I’m going to go with Kate Winslet in “Steve Jobs.”

KLG: Even though you didn’t see the movie?

HK: No, I didn’t see it, but I saw plenty of clips from the film. So thank you and you’re welcome. Now back off!
