- SHAUN KING

We already knewwhite supremacists were endorsingDonald Trumpfor President andassaulting young blackwomen at his vitriolic campaign rallies.

Now,inanewvideofromPBS, wesee anapparentneo-Nazi workingin his North Carolina campaign officeand making calls o on his behalf.

Grace Tilly, a 33-year-old woman from Fayetteville, N.C., wearingTrumpgear andworking fo forthe campaign, is seen with m multiple tattoosthat arecommonly lyassociated with whitesupremac cists and neo-Nazis.

One,a large “88” on her hand, is awidelyknown neo-Nazicode for “Heil Hitler.” The letter “H” is the e eighth letter of the alphabet.

On the other hand, Tillydisp played a tattoo of the Stormfront lo logo, alsoknown asOdin’s Cross. Stormfront is the largest white supremacist websitein the world.

Tilly, who says in the interview th thatshe has nevervoted before a andhas beenoutofworkfor the p pastsix months, isnow head over heelswith her support for Trump. It’s her first time as a presidential campaign volunteer. Before the NorthCarolina primary, her job was to call as many potential voters as possible to rally the troops. It clearly helped.

Itmust benotedthat Trump not onlywontheprimaryinNorth Carolina, but won it in the very townwhereTilly isfrom —Fayetteville — where multiple AfricanAmericanswere assaulted at a March9Trump campaignrally.

JohnMcGrawwas arrestedfor violently striking an unsuspecting blackmanwhowasleaving the TrumpeventatCrownColiseum. Fiveofficers havebeen suspended for ignoring the assault.

Tilly told PBS that her tattoos “are not representativeof neo-Nazipositions but are connected to her family’s Celtic religious beliefs.”TheNews wasnot ableto reachherfor comment but the Anti-Defamation Leagueblasted theTrumpcampaignandhis controversial supporters.

“Wearenowseeingwhite supremacists and extremists endorseDonaldTrumpandeven get involvedin promoting and supportinghis campaign,” said Mark Pitcavage, a seniorresearch fellowat the ADL.

Trumpis not a fringe presidential candidate, but rather the leading Republican in the field and is likely to be the GOP’s nominee.

He’s not popular in spite of his bigotry, but because of it.
