Sports doc staffer’s sex suit

- BYJOHN MARZULLI

A FORMER secretary at a Park Ave. e. sports doctor’s office claims the place was s as hostile as a jock lounge.

Janine Rudzinski alleges she was sexu- ally harassed by the female office manag- er who coerced her into participating in a ménage-a-trois in order to keep her job, according to a lawsuit filed in Brooklyn Federal Court.

Rudzinski’s suit alleges she was hired last May to work for Dr. Jonathan Glashow, a top orthopedic surgeon affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital, as an executive assistant to his office manager, Lael Carter.

Rudzinski, 25, alleges she was subjected to inappropriate questions from Carter, 34, about her sex life and whether Rudzinski was “into women,” according to the suit.

Carter reportedly told her subordinate that she and her husband were into threesomes with other women and that her husband trained other persons in bondage sex.

“Carter would discuss her ‘ boob job’ with plaintiff on a regular basis ... Carter would tell plaintiff that she has an open marriage; that she and her husband often sleep with other persons; that she likes to watch her husband having sex with other women, and that it was common for them to visit sex parties,” the suit alleges.

Rudzinski contends in the suit that she was “blindsided” by the harassment but put up with the hostile work environment in the office on Park Ave. near 71st St. because she needed Carter’s recommendation to be hired on a permanent basis.

In order to get that recommendation, Carter allegedly told Rudzinski to come live with the couple at their upstate home for one month last summer.

Carter’s husband, Lee, who is not a defendant in the suit, allegedly claimed he was a CIA agent and, based on his skill profiling people, concluded that “being a slave” was in Rudzinski’s nature, the suit states.

Rudzinski’s suit says she was encouraged to get into the couple’s bed, where they had sex in front of her, and she was allegedly kissed and groped by Lee Carter. She was also threatened with being “whipped” if she mentioned her boyfriend during their hookups, the suit says.

Finally, Rudzinski reported what was going on to Glashow, who ordered his attorneys to investigate her allegations. Rudzinski was unable to proceed with the internal probe due to emotional stress and Glashow retaliated by firing her, she claims.

The suit was originally filed last month in Brooklyn Supreme Court but was removed to Federal Court by Glashow’s lawyers because the allegations of discrimination and owed wages have federal jurisdiction.

Lawyers for both sides did not return calls for comment.
