LAS VEGAS — Guess the wise guys didn’t look at the spread numbers. The St. Joseph’s-Cincinnati game opened Cincy -11/ and has jumped up to -3. Wrong

2 move, fellas. If you move your eyes down to “eckSTATic,” you’ll see that the Joes are a LIVE dog. They might have to travel all the way to Spokane from Philly, but the Hawks have NO issue packing a bag, covering 12 of 14 (86%) this season on the road. St. Joe is also phenomenal as an underdog, covering eight of 10 (80%). Anytime a team is hitting at 80% or better, it’s worth a wager. Also gonna grab Syracuse +1 point over Dayton. Just about every talking head and ink-stained wretch (NO ONE uses ink anymore, but just kinda like the way it sounds) had a problem with Syracuse making the tournament, but the Orange are coming to play. And as always, they’re gonna give other teams fits with that crazy zone D. And Dayton does NOT have a good zone offense. Gimme half a Benjamin on each game. … I’M not only an ECK, I’M an APP!!! PLZ download it at www.ecksandbacon.com. It’s FREE!!!

eckSTATic: Looking at a tasty 8-9 matchup between Cincinnati and St. Joseph’s. Cincy limps in with an overall spread record of 12-15-1, 5-9-1 on the road and 10-13 as a favorite. If you’re ready, behold the Joe’s impressive numbers. The Hawks from Philly enjoyed a healthy 22-11 overall mark, with a SPECTACULAR 12-2 record on the road and have cashed eight of 10 as an underdog.

CIRCULAR REPORT: On the NBA board, Pistons-Kings circle is for numerous injuries to both sides.
