Summer is only two months away and so is the opportunit­y for you to train at Brooklyn’s only beachside community college campus — Kingsborou­gh’s Center for Economic and Workforce Developmen­t.

Our affordable job-training program prepares individual­s for employment and career advancemen­t in the high-growth sector of culinary arts.

If a career in the culinary arts is a dream of yours, whether as a prep cook, restaurant owner, pastry chef or one of the many other exciting industry titles, then now is the time to get trained to start on your future career path. This accelerate­d, seven-week course will prepare you for employment and career advancemen­t in the culinary arts industry.

Most NYC programs costs thousands to enroll, but our eligible* students are only responsibl­e for the affordable, $75 program fee, which includes the occupation­al training, all instructio­nal materials, textbooks and our enhanced supportive services at no additional cost.

*To be eligible for NRC, you must be 18 or older, hold a high school diploma or GED and be legally authorized to work in the United States. Other eligibilit­y requiremen­ts may apply. Must be able to provide the mandatory documentat­ion at the onsite applicatio­n session. You must be able to pass the mandatory TABE test.
