Our safe, suburban campus sits on 40 beautiful acres in historic Hackettstown, N.J., with our 65-acre equestrian center, home to over 100 experienced show horses and state-ofthe-art riding and classroom facilities, just 11 miles away. The student-faculty ratio at Centenary College is 17:1, and the majority of our classes have fewer than 20 students. Students are more than just a number here; they are a member of a small, devoted community of learners.

Our Career Development Center matches students with internships that will prepare them for their dream careers. The career staff helps students with everything from mock interviews to graduate school applications to LinkedIn account creation and resume drafting. In fact, 82% of our graduates found employment within nine months of graduating.
College isn't just about academics; it's about having a great time, expanding your horizons and developing meaningful relationships that will last a lifetime. Our goal is to encourage an appreciation and participation in service learning, and allow students to design and create programs and activities on campus to make their college experience their own. There are a number of fun clubs to choose from ranging from intramurals to fraternities and sororities to honor societies to service-based groups. One thing is for sure, there’s never a dull moment at Centenary.
Centenary College teams participate in 14 NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports. Men's sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, equestrian, golf, lacrosse, soccer and wrestling; while women's sports include basketball, cross country, equestrian, lacrosse, soccer, softball and volleyball.
Centenary is one of the most well-known equestrian colleges in the country. We have one of the top, nationally ranked equestrian riding teams in the United States. Students enrolled in the college's equine programs may participate in competitions through intercollegiate organizations such as the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, the Intercollegiate Dressage Association or with the Hunter/Jumper's Club.
