Freddy Galvis hit an RBI double off Jonathan Papelbon with two outs in the 10th inning to lift the Philadelph­ia

Phillies over Washington 3-2 Sunday, ending the visiting Nationals’ seven-game winning streak. Bryce Harper hit a solo homer to give the Nationals the lead in the top of the 10th.

Papelbon was 5 for 5 before blowing the save.

Rookie Mallex Smith hit an RBI single with two outs in the 10th inning and the resurgent Atlanta Braves completed a three-game sweep by beating Miami 6-5 Sunday. The Braves arrived in Miami with an 0-9 record, their worst start since 1988.

Nolan Arenado hit two home runs, Tyler Chatwood threw seven shutout innings and the Colorado Rockies beat the Chicago Cubs 2-0. Aaron Sanchez allowed two hits in seven innings of one-run ball, and Jose Bautista drove in two runs with a solo homer and a double to lead the Toronto Blue Jays over the Boston Red Sox 5-3.

BLUES TOP BLACKHAWKS

Jaden Schwartz scored at 13:32 of the third period with Patrick Kane in the penalty box for high-sticking, and the St. Louis Blues beat the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 on Sunday for a 2-1 lead in their first-round playoff series.

Patrik Berglund also scored in the third as St. Louis rallied for the win.

Andreas Athanasiou and Henrik Zetterberg scored, Petr Mrazek made 16 saves and the Detroit Red Wings beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-0. Detroit cut its deficit to 2-1 in the first-round series.

After brawling late in the last game, gloves were dropped, fists flew and there were piles of players on the ice when the Game 3 ended. Ben Bishop made 28 saves for the Lightning, who had their top line of Tyler Johnson, Nikita Kucherov and Alex Killorn shut down after the trio combined for six points in the first two games of the series.
