The New York Stage and Film winter gala will bring VIP’s to the Plaza Hotel between 58th and 59th Sts. 6:30 p.m. tonight. Yes, that’s just two blocks north of the Fifth Avenue White House! Fuhgeddaboud driving Fifth Avenue (you should have forgotten about it on November 9th). If you’re headed to the area, take transit: the N and R trains head to 59th St.-5th Ave.

Monday-night Football, even with the hapless Jets playing the almost-ashapless Colts, still draws 40-50,000 fans. With kickoff at 8:30 p.m. fan traffic will hit the Hudson River crossings smack in the middle of the evening rush hour. Expect the Lincoln, Holland and GWB to be even more sluggish than usual.

At Madison Square Garden, the Knicks play the Kings 7:30 p.m. tonight and the Cavaliers 8 p.m. Wednesday. On Friday, the 2100’s Jingle Ball at 7:30 p.m. will feature Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Diplo, and these A-listers are bound to CHAPECO, Brazil — About 20,000 people packed into a tiny stadium on Saturday, to say goodbye to members of the Chapecoense soccer club who died in a plane crash.

Monday’s wreck in the Colombian Andes claimed most of the team’s players and staff as it headed to the finals of one of Latin America’s most important club tournaments.

Seventy-one of the 77 people onboard died, including 19 soccer players.

In all, more than 100,000 people paid their respects inside and outside the arena.

Ivan Tozzo, the acting president of the soccer club, told fans it would continue on, and reminded them that “it was here on this field where this club fought the good fight.”

“This team taught us that everything is possible,” Tozzo added.
