THESE BARBERSHOP just couldn’t cut it.

The owner of a Brooklyn haircutting joint menaced by two gunmen said Sunday the bandits were amateurs who got spooked after customers ignored orders to lie down on the floor.

A barber in the store also refused to back down as they tried to snatch his gold chain.

“These guys, to me they were dumb. They came, they tried (to rob us) and they left,” the owner of Nostrand Legend’s told the Daily News, declining to give his name.

“When one of the guys realized somebody left the shop, he got scared and decided to leave.” robbers

Surveillance video shows the would-be robbers viciously attacking a barber inside the shop on Nostrand Ave. near Linden Blvd. in Flatbush around 8 p.m. Friday.

“I’m not going to say we resisted, because they had guns,” the owner said.

But video shows otherwise. The brave barber stood up to the suspects, who demanded money and tried to grab his necklace, police said. Cops said the suspects were between the ages of 20 and 25.

In the footage, one of the robbers brandishes a silver handgun as the other clocks the barber in the head several times during a struggle.

Three people quickly made a run for it during the confrontation. The robbers noticed the exodus and left empty-handed after less than a minute.

The barber who fought back quit his job after the attack and has no intention of coming back, the owner said, adding that he hopes cops find the suspects.

“Definitely, I want them caught ... They could have hurt us (and) the customers,” he said.
