Serpent-ine path to vows on V-Day

-

A CONEY ISLAND woman who charms snakes for a living was rewarded with a Times Square wedding Tuesday after fate led her to finally hear the music.

Following years of putting off marriage, Stephanie Torres said her sister’s sudden death in November made her realize life is too short to say no to love.

So she popped the question to her love, welder Tim Porter.

Torres and her new hubby won a contest for the Times Square Alliance to host their Valentine’s Day wedding in front of the famous red TKTS steps.

Their entry essay explained how Porter first fell for Serpentina, Torres’ stage name.

“I charmed him,” Torres said. “I don’t think the snakes did.”

Torres said she had been turning down Porter’s marriage proposals for years. But when a tow truck fatally mowed down her 26-year-old sister on Long Island, she realized how fragile life is.

The couple held their 2-yearold son, Gunner, as they said their “I do’s.” Spectators burst out in cheers as the couple shared a kiss.

“We were told we won two weeks ago,” Torres said. “We didn’t have much time to plan.”

They bought a dress and suit on Amazon for less than $500, and the Alliance took care of the rest.
