New face leads Pace

PACE University has named Marvin Krislov, formerly the president of Ohio’s Oberlin College, as its new president.

Krislov, 56, who ran Oberlin for a decade, was selected following a national search. The Pace Board of Trustees elected him unanimousl­y and he starts Aug. 1.

Current Pace president Stephen J. Friedman, 78, is retiring.

Officials would not disclose Krislov’s salary, but university tax filings show Friedman was paid a salary of nearly $700,000.
