Vic kin menace road-rage slay cop: lawyer
AN NYPD officer indicted for gunning down a Brooklyn man during a road rage incident was allegedly threatened by the victim’s family while entering court Tuesday.
As Wayne Isaacs was in the security line in Brooklyn Supreme Court, a relative of Delrawn Small “made specific threatening comments” and took his photograph, said defense attorney Michael Martinez.
Isaacs, 38, was in court for a scheduled conference for his case, in which he is charged with fatally shooting Small when Small, 37, approached the officer’s vehicle on Atlantic Ave. on July 4.
The suspended officer was the first indicted by the state attorney general under Gov. Cuomo’s executive order appointing a special prosecutor for such cases.
Outside court, an unidentified female relative of Small confirmed the alleged threats came from one of their loved ones.
