- BY JOHN ANNESE

A PROSTITUTE who sees clients at her Brooklyn apartment was robbed twice in two weeks by a crook posing as a john, according to sources familiar with the case.

Cops are now asking the public’s help identifying the bandit and his accomplice.

The 33-year-old victim advertises on sites like Backpage.com, sources said, and a client helped plan one of the robberies, sources said.

Two men forced their way into her home on Throop Ave. at Hopkins St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant after she buzzed open the building’s main door at 5 p.m. on Jan. 27, cops said.

They punched her, knocked her to the floor, pulled a knife and made off with $2,600 in cash and jewelry, cops said.

The pair struck again at about 2:40 a.m. on Feb. 6, after a john she invited in used the bathroom and left the door open for the robbers, sources said. That time, they took $3,000 cash, a credit card and a cell phone, police said.

After that, the thieves used the victim’s credit card to withdraw $300 from a deli ATM on Central Ave. near DeKalb Ave. in Bushwick.

The two suspects, and the john they teamed up with, are all described as Hispanic men, between 20 and 30 years old. Police released photos of one of the suspects, in a blue Rolling Stones hoodie (inset). A second suspect was seen wearing a gray hoodie.

Cops are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
