McGhee also provides a supportive learning environment, seamless credit transfer, multiple financial aid and scholarship options, and flexible schedules that allow students to continue to earn while they learn, helping to defray the cost of tuition. On-demand academic coaching; tailored career development services; programs taught by top professionals in their fields; and the option to study full-time, part-time, online, or in-person, make McGhee the choice for students who seek to complete their undergraduate degree at a world-renowned university, but who need to fulfill other personal and professional obligations while they study.
The NYUSPS McGhee Division for Undergraduate Studies provides an NYU education for those who started their college careers at a community college and who now want to move on to experience the benefits of studying at a top university. Many students who attended community colleges in the boroughs of NYC and in Westchester, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties, as well as in New Jersey, are considering McGhee as an option to complete their degrees.
Often students transferring from other schools sense that NYU is not an option for them. While McGhee’s admissions process is selective, applicants are evaluated holistically, based upon their ability to benefit from, and contribute to, the challenging learning environment that the Division offers.
McGhee affords undergraduate degree completers with a unique learning environment in the heart of New York City. They benefit from a variety of academic and work experiences, in addition to short-term, study-away options and the chance to network with leading industry professionals on a regular basis. Students are immersed in a learning experience that provides them with the outstanding academic and professional opportunities and credentials that are the hallmark of an NYU education.
