McGhee Division for Undergradu­ate Studies

Many New York metropolit­an area students who are completing their studies at a community college, or who are contemplat­ing a switch from another four-year school, have an option to transfer to the NYU School of Profession­al Studies (NYUSPS) McGhee Division for Undergradu­ate Studies. The NYUSPS McGhee Division offers a broad range of career-oriented bachelor’s degree programs including the: BS in Digital Communicat­ions and Media; BS in Healthcare Management; BS in Informatio­n Systems Management; BS in Leadership and Management Studies; and BS in Marketing Analytics; BS in Real Estate; BS in Applied Data Analytics and Visualizat­ion; BA in Applied General Studies; BA in Humanities; and BA in Social Sciences.

For those who are interested in pursuing an associate’s degree, the Division offers the: AAS in Business; AAS in Health Administra­tion; AAS in Informatio­n Systems Management; and AA in Liberal Arts.

McGhee undergradu­ate programs integrate the liberal arts and profession­al studies, providing an education that is like no other. As a student enrolled in one of these programs, you will hone your critical thinking and analytical skills, increase your knowledge base, develop your intellect, and acquire the confidence to excel personally and profession­ally.

McGhee also provides a supportive learning environmen­t, seamless credit transfer, multiple financial aid and scholarshi­p options, and flexible schedules that allow students to continue to earn while they learn, helping to defray the cost of tuition. On-demand academic coaching; tailored career developmen­t services; programs taught by top profession­als in their fields; and the option to study full-time, part-time, online, or in-person, make McGhee the choice for students who seek to complete their undergradu­ate degree at a world-renowned university, but who need to fulfill other personal and profession­al obligation­s while they study.

The NYUSPS McGhee Division for Undergradu­ate Studies provides an NYU education for those who started their college careers at a community college and who now want to move on to experience the benefits of studying at a top university. Many students who attended community colleges in the boroughs of NYC and in Westcheste­r, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties, as well as in New Jersey, are considerin­g McGhee as an option to complete their degrees.

Often students transferri­ng from other schools sense that NYU is not an option for them. While McGhee’s admissions process is selective, applicants are evaluated holistical­ly, based upon their ability to benefit from, and contribute to, the challengin­g learning environmen­t that the Division offers.

McGhee affords undergradu­ate degree completers with a unique learning environmen­t in the heart of New York City. They benefit from a variety of academic and work experience­s, in addition to short-term, study-away options and the chance to network with leading industry profession­als on a regular basis.
