If it’s your birthday

-

MWhen you get an offer, or find that a door is open, that’s your moment. How many times have you let an opportunity go by? You can pluck up all the courage you need, any time you need it. Life is a game of chutes and ladders. You never know where you’re going to land, but you need to keep moving. You share your birthday with Raphael, Billy Dee Williams and Imani Coppola. APRIL 20-MAY 20 Current aspects describe you working out something about the way you feel perceived by the public. You’re often uncertain of your image: whether you’re perceived as a person of integrity, or as someone who is attractive. In fact, people respect and appreciate you; your doubts are the problem. MAY 21-JUNE 20 You know it’s necessary to leave the past behind, yet this is often the most challenging thing to do. The question is, what benefit do you get from clinging to the past? If you look honestly and decide that it’s no benefit at all, you have a motivation to move forward. JUNE 21-JULY 22 While there’s rarely such a thing as easy money, there are good opportunities to connect your talent to a paycheck. But there’s one important metric: do you feel good about what you’re doing? Are you making the world a better place? If yes, it’s a great gig. JULY 23-AUG. 22 Have faith in yourself, or in something greater than yourself. Either one will do. Today what used to seem like a slim chance, or out of reach, will be much more responsive — if you have courage and don’t talk yourself out of it. Just keep saying, “Anything is possible.” AUG. 23-SEPT. 22 Certain beliefs that worked for you in the past no longer hold. However, beliefs often fly under the radar and run our lives covertly. You would be wise to bring this process to the surface and ask yourself what’s true for you, and why. When you find something useless, toss it. SEPT. 23-OCT. 22 If you’re addressing any legacy material, such as an estate or unresolved finances in a partnership, now’s the time to bring that matter to conclusion. Set an agenda for what must happen, and then work through the points one by one till you’re liberated. That’s another way of saying happy. OCT. 23-NOV. 21 You must be patient while a partner or loved one goes through a transition, and lets go of a situation or problem from the past. There’s no rushing this process, and you’ll be well served by not taking this personally. It’s not about you; it’s about their growth process. NOV. 22-DEC. 21 Saturn in your sign turns to retrograde motion today. That will take some pressure off, and allow you to set down some of the responsibilities that have piled up over the past few months. The larger message is: you don’t need to do less; you need to do more, more efficiently. DEC. 22-JAN. 19 Keep an eye on your anxiety level. More than being just an annoyance, it’s an important indicator of how you’re doing spiritually. If you find yourself worrying, pause, acknowledge that consciously, and get back to your roots and routines; whether meditation, study or nature. JAN. 20-FEB. 18 There’s a family matter that it’s time to let go of. You’ve worked it through all you can; there seems to be little else to discuss. This will be easier if you claim the positive benefits of what happened. You would not be who you are, with all you have to offer. FEB. 19-MARCH 20 Your professional goals would best set aside the idea of success, and embrace the idea of purpose. Success is a vehicle through which you can make the right thing happen, rather than an end in itself. Stay close to the reason you do what you do, and remember who you serve.
