A BASEBALL-loving Brooklyn 8-year-old boy crushed under the weight of a fallen flower box was “a champ” who now has crossed “home plate in heaven,” mourners said Monday at his funeral.

Kevin (KJ) Reilly had climbed a metal gate outside the ground-floor windows of his Marine Park home last week, trying to retrieve a basketball, when he grabbed hold of the 4-foot-long planter, sending it crashing down on his head.

His emotional father, also named Kevin, told around 300 mourners at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church he called his son “Champ.”

“To me, champions never die,” Reilly said. The Rev. Thomas Doyle eulogized the boy as a fun-loving athlete.

“Kevin has gone into the kingdom. He has crossed home plate, where some day you and I will also be,” Doyle said. POLICE ARRESTED two teenage boys accused of sexually assaulting a classmate and forcing her to perform a sex act in a stairwell of a Brooklyn middle school, officials said Monday.

The boys, ages 14 and 15, were talking to the girl in the hallway of Williamsburg Middle School on Friday when they snatched her sweater and ran to the stairwell, cops said.

The girl, 14, followed, and the 14-year-old boy told her she’d have to perform oral sex on him to get her sweater back, police said.

He pushed her to the ground and forced himself on her while the 15-year-old boy acted as a lookout. A third boy was present and witnessed the incident.

The 15-year-old boy then tried to have her perform oral sex on him, too, before a teacher discovered the incident, authorities said.

The girl went to a hospital, where she was treated and released.
