If it’s your birthday

-

The more revolutionary your ideas, the more successful you’ll be, so push the limits with pleasure. In the current professional and media environments, innovation is essential. You’re poised to discover something that nobody has noticed before, though you’ll need to keep your sense of humor fresh, and remember that revision is the key to brilliance. You share a birthday with Harriet Beecher Stowe, Junior Walker and Faizon Love. JUNE 21-JULY 22 The most challenging problems are usually solved with group participation. Nearly all of the successful innovations we admire and aspire to are the product of many minds working toward a common goal. You’re in a position to guide just such an effort. Make room for even the weirdest ideas. JULY 23-AUG. 22 Doing the right thing probably means doing something different from everyone else. Be careful who you take as your model, and remember that your actions set an example. Get over the embarrassment of standing out, or of refusing to conform to something that’s going unquestioned but is clearly wrong. AUG. 23-SEPT. 22 Once you discover you were working with incorrect information, apply that to your assessment of the situation. Any true facts must take the place of the false ones, and then you’ll need to think through the whole equation again. That’s the purpose of having a mind as good as yours. SEPT. 23-OCT. 22 You’ll find sincere collaborators even on your most unusual or unconventional goals. Yet you’ll have to do a little sorting of who actually means what they say. People who mean it will usually back up their words with some form of action, and will care about getting it right the first time. OCT. 23-NOV. 21 This is one of those moments when seemingly difficult subject matter will be the easiest to discuss. Yet you may need to gently persist as you reveal what you might ordinarily keep quiet about. Once you have that breakthrough and touch upon actual material, you won’t want to turn back. NOV. 22-DEC. 21 Once someone comes clean about what they’re really thinking or feeling, it will help if you don’t hold their past against them. One of the most basic elements of maturity is learning how to be real with others. Any effort in that direction must be rewarded and encouraged. DEC. 22-JAN. 19 Look carefully and you may notice a parallel between your current social configuration, and your early family. While there may not be exact matches, you’ll notice that certain people you know resemble parents and siblings. This will provide you with guidance about how to handle yourself now. JAN. 20-FEB. 18 The Sun and Mercury continue their journey through the most adventurous angle of your solar chart. This is high tide on a sunny day if you consider yourself any form of artist, or if your work calls for creativity. Constant experimentation and happy accidents are the path to brilliance. FEB. 19-MARCH 20 You may make a discovery about your early life and how it influenced you. Try to look at the world from the viewpoint of the child you once were, when everyone was taller than you, and said things they thought you didn’t understand. Remember your insatiable curiosity. Then, see what you learn.
