2 kids among 4 shot in Jersey City

COPS SUSPECT a leg that washed up on an Upper West Side riverbank belongs to a missing New Jersey woman who was found dead and dismembere­d off a Brooklyn shoreline, officials said Sunday.

A female jogger spotted the partial leg Saturday near the W. 79th St. Boat Basin on the Hudson River and called 911 at 12:35 p.m., police said. The leg, which had toenails painted pink, was not decomposed.

NYPD harbor units were canvassing the area to determine if there were additional remains.

The victim’s badly decomposed lower torso was pulled out of the Red Hook Channel off Conover St. on Tuesday, authoritie­s said.

The remains had been identified as a missing New Jersey woman after the victim’s mother came to the 76th Precinct stationhou­se and said her daughter had the same Sanskrit tattoo on her right hip as found on the body, police said. FOUR PEOPLE, including two children, were shot in Jersey City on Sunday night, according to family members and reports.

“I heard shots, so I came downstairs running,” she said, requesting anonymity. “He’s in recovery right now . . . . They took the bullet out.” the last car of a train from Hoboken, police sources said.

Port Authority cops cleared the Oculus just before 3 p.m. About 4:45 p.m. a spokesman for Mayor de Blasio tweeted that the police had given the all-clear. All service was restored by 5 p.m.
