Fall is college fair season
It’s easy to get overwhelmed once you venture down the college research rabbit hole, skipping from website to website, compiling lists of lists. After a while, all of the college websites can start to look the same and there are enough numbers to give anyone palpitations. That’s why college fairs are still one of the most effective — and enjoyable — tools for choosing a college.
College fairs give you the opportunity to talk to real people in real life about the the things that really interest you. You can make a real human connection with an alumnus or admissions officer who can give you a better understanding of their college than its website or brochure alone. You can find out about academic programs, campus activities, financial aid, admissions requirements, and get a real feel for each college’s culture.
