Fatal stab in front of S.I. house

ROCKER MARILYN Manson was rushed to a New York hospital Saturday after a prop — two enormous fake pistols — came crashing down on him during a concert.

Manson was about 45 minutes into his show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan when the accident occurred.

The singer was doing a cover of the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams” when he tried to climb the two guns, which were almost double his height. The huge prop toppled in an instant, flattening Manson as it knocked him to the stage.

Ciro Castro, 28, a fan from Maspeth, Queens, watched in disbelief from the second row.

“It was so fast, at first I thought it was part of the show. But then I saw the guitarist’s face, and the faces of some of the others who rushed over and they looked scared — really scared,” Castro said. “I was like, ‘Oh, this is not a joke.’”

As the crew rushed to lift the prop off Manson (below), the 48-year-old singer lay motionless, Castro said. “He moved for a minute at first but then he was still. They turned off the lights but we could see they were trying to cover him with a blanket.”

Video from the chaotic moment shows Manson desperately throwing up his legs and arms to protect himself just seconds before the giant pistols pinned him. It took at least 10 minutes for emergency responders to get Manson onto a stretcher. Castro said fans began to file out after someone turned on the lights and said the concert was over. “They said Marilyn had been injured and the concert was canceled,” he said. Castro caught a glimpse of an ambulance out back as it took the singer away. Manson’s spokesman confirmed the singer was hurt in a statement to Variety. “Manson suffered an injury towards the end of an incredible NYC show. He is being treated at a local hospital,” the statement said.

A source close to Manson said he “should be fine,” Variety said.

It was the second accident in as many days for Manson, who hurt his ankle Friday while performing in Pittsburgh.

Manson hopped off stage while performing “Beautiful People” toward the end of the show, and when he climbed back on he told the crowd, “I just broke my ankle but it’s OK.”

There was no immediate sign of that injury Saturday while Manson performed at the Hammerstein.

Anthony Biscardi, of Flushing, said it was “crazy” how quickly the guns crashed into the singer.

“It just came falling down ... he was a little limp, like he was knocked out,” Biscardi said. “Everybody started panicking. We hope he’s OK, because we are all fans.” A MAN was stabbed to death on the front porch of a Staten Island home early Saturday, authorities said.

The 51-year-old victim was knifed in the midsection on Elm St. near Henderson Ave. in West New Brighton around 4 a.m., cops said.

Medics rushed him to Richmond University Medical Center, where he died. His name was not immediately released.

The victim did not live where the attack took place, a police source said.

Cops took a highly intoxicated woman into custody at the scene, but were having difficulty questioning her, mostly because of her condition.

She was still being questioned Saturday evening, cops said. No arrests have been made. The death comes as the NYPD marks a 25% drop in homicides for the year.

As of Thursday, cops were investigating 198 killings across the five boroughs — 66 fewer than the 264 reported by this time a year earlier.

By this time in 2015, 271 murders had been investigated, cops said.

Stabbings and slashings are also down for the year — by about 2%. Police said 198 victims were stabbed or slashed this year through Thursday this year — 66 fewer than during the same period last year.
