MAYOR DE BLASIO offered condolences to the victims of the Las Vegas massacre early Monday and Gov. Cuomo ordered increased security at key points throughout New York.

Cuomo also called for the state’s flags to fly at half-staff for the next four days.

De Blasio led a moment of silence at the start of a town hall on school safety being held in the wake of the fatal classroom stabbing in the Bronx last week.

“Once again we have confronted something in our country that is unspeakable,” the mayor said. “And it’s a very painful reality and our hearts go out to all the families who have lost loved ones, all those who are suffering right now in hospitals around the area.”

Cuomo ordered increased security at key points around the state.

“New York stands with Las Vegas in the aftermath of this heinous and vile act of gun violence, and my heart aches for its victims and their loved ones on this darkest of days,” Cuomo said.

Police Commissioner James O’Neill said the department is monitoring the investigation, and sent cops to sensitive locations around the city. A CBS executive was fired Monday after posting an inappropriate Facebook message following the Las Vegas massacre.

“If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing,” said Hayley Geftman-Gold, a vice president and senior counsel in strategic transactions. “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans are often republican gun toters.”

Her apparent reference was to the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting in which 20 elementary school students were killed.

At least 59 people were killed and 527 were injured when Stephen Paddock opened fire on the Route 91 Harvest Festival on Sunday night.

Geftman-Gold, 41, was fired shortly after her post.

“Her views as expressed on social media are deeply unacceptable to all of us at CBS,” the company said in a statement.
