Paddock bro hit on kid porn

THE BROTHER of Las Vegas killer Stephen Paddock was busted Wednesday for possession of more than 600 images of child pornography, authorities said.

Bruce Paddock, 58, (photo) was taken into custody at a nursing facility on Laurel Canyon Blvd. in Los Angeles.

He was hit with 20 criminal charges, all related to possession of child pornography or the sexual exploitation of children, according to documents filed Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court that outlined the case.

The LAPD began investigating Paddock in 2014, after evidence was found inside a business where he was squatting. Paddock was homeless at the time, the LAPD said Wednesday.

Cops couldn’t find Paddock until recently, according to a department spokesman. He was tracked to the North Hollywood facility where he was arrested Wednesday.

Footage aired on television showed Paddock, in a wheelchair, being loaded into the back of an LAPD van.

The police released a photo of Paddock “in case there may be victims of unreported incidents,” who might see it and contact authorities, LAPD spokesman Josh Rubenstein said.

Rubenstein said Paddock’s arrest was not related to his brother Stephen Paddock’s rampage in Las Vegas, in which the gunman killed 58 people and wounded nearly 500 others on Oct. 1.

Bruce Paddock had been a patient at Four Seasons Healthcare & Wellness Center in the Valley Village area of Los Angeles. A manager declined to comment on Wednesday, citing patient confidentiality, but a patient outside said he once shared a room with Paddock and was shocked.

“He was a psych patient,” Cleveland Simpson, 64, told the Daily News. He kept on saying, ‘It’s too much medicine. They’re giving me too much medicine.’ But he needed it.” With News Wire Services
