Dethrone King Donald I & court

-

Brooklyn: Our country is no longer a democratic republic. We are now a monarchy. We have King Donald I, Queen Melania, Princess Ivanka, Prince Donald II, Prince Eric and Court Jester Pence. Why the hell is everybody so afraid of him? Step up, people, before he completely destroys all that has been done here by our ancestors. Immigrants have always been welcome here. He also sends young men and women off to die or get maimed one way or another, while he sits in his castle and did not serve in the armed forces when he was supposed to. Also, if he went to all the prestigious schools he claimed to, why doesn’t he know how to spell? We must get him out before it’s too later, and we blow up the world. Time is running out. Act now.

Jim Nelson Albany: So now that Harvey Weinstein must face his past, what about the President of the nation, who proudly said that it was OK to grab women by the crotch? Bill Collins

Fool some of the people

Great Neck, L.I.: It’s obvious that President Trump was up to his Adam’s apple with the Russians both before and after the 2016 elections. Now to get your mind on other programs, he offers baloney changes. What a con artist. Fred Feingold

She’s onto you

Bronx: Hey, President Trump, you can’t keep calling Hillary Clinton a crook without including yourself. It’s like the pot calling the kettle black. I guess you forgot that you swindled 55,000 people with your Trump University scam. You’re a big con man. Also, you can’t call all the women you groped a bunch of liars, because I saw the clip where you bragged about it. I know that you were in bed with Vladimir Putin, the leader of Russia, and that is why you fired FBI Director James Comey. I was happy when Paul Manafort was arrested for money laundering. Now I’m waiting for Robert Mueller to cut your dreams down to size.

Doris Festante

Shattered shell

Brooklyn: Dumpty Trumpty sits on a chair in the White House hall. Dumpty Trumpty will have a great fall. All his supporters and all his friends will not be able to put Dumpty Trumpty together again. Peter Ronald Kisten

He’s got our backs

Brooklyn: As someone who lost a relative on 9/11, I am in agreement with President Trump on the terrorist attack in New York City. I am sick of Gov. Cuomo with his “we go forward” bull — Cuomo, with his security detail, along with Sen. Chuck Schumer and Mayor de Blasio. When these guys live in the real world, then I will listen. President Trump, I stand by you. Build the wall, bring on merit-based immigration and get rid of the visa lottery program. If we do not take action, leaders will be preaching once again. Pray for New York City. We are strong, yes, but we are not stupid. Stop the madness, so maybe life can become enjoyable again without having to look over our shoulders. Thank you, New York’s Finest, and Police Officer Ryan Nash. Without you, we are nothing. Antonio Travis

Ignore them

Forest Hills: To the news media: Stop covering the ISIS terrorists after they have been apprehended. Stop printing their photos all over the place. This is exactly what the terrorists want. You’ll see how quickly they will stop carrying out their bombing, running people down, gunning people or any other means of attack. When they are killed by our law enforcement — yes, then show that to them, in print.

Olga Mavity

What’s left

Brooklyn: When you take the “T” off “Trump,” you are left with “rump.” Which is what he is.

Arthur Mazlin

One country . . .

Somers, N.Y.: One of the dumbest phrases we hear is “the country is divided.” There are 330 million Americans with 330 million opinions on every issue. Perfectly normal. I have a solution: Every American should think, speak and act as I do. Then we will be united. You betcha. That was easy. Alfred D’Alessandro

. . . at war with itself

Bronx: As an American and as a Democrat, I’m tired of having a commander-in-chief who constantly uses any tragedy to blame and demonize Democrats. I’ve always respected Republicans and their views even if I didn’t agree with them. If the hateful rhetoric isn’t dialed back at some point, I see a new civil war in the future. Extremists will start killing Democrats and calling it justifiable homicide. Stephen Darner

Look it up

Long Beach, L.I.: Computers are a wonderful instrument. When I was a kid, we had encyclopedias to gather information. So I asked the computer. I know someone who is acting very peculiarly. This person has had a bad streak of luck and blames everyone but himself. When he is criticized, he lashes out. He mistrusts almost everyone, is hypervigilant, finds forgiveness difficult, has trouble handling the truth and believes he is the greatest and best at everything. My computer calls it paranoia. If you know of such a person, tell him or her to get some help from a doctor. Consequences can be severe. Ken Fisher

Come on, people

Bronx: There is too much prejudice in the world. Many people disrespect and even hate others who are of a different color or religion than theirs. These people are very small-minded. Don’t be one of them. Marsha Kolin

One flag only

Portland, Ore.: To Voicer Laurence Stephen Fishkorn: I am livid that you would presume that I fly the Nazi flag. I believe in God, country and the red, white and blue, in that order. I don’t care that these players are protesting; that is their right. My problem is what they are protesting against. They are disrespecting and dishonoring those who died for their flag so that they have the rights that they have — freedom.

Anna Marie Henderson

What leadership looks like

Long Island City: Let’s give three cheers to those politicians who, despite the tragic recent happenings, go on to say New York will always remain a safe haven for as long as they remain in office.

Euclid Carras

Lies on the stand

Brooklyn: Just because someone is under oath does not mean that they are telling the truth. I believe that Gov. Cuomo is doing his utmost to stain Mayor de Blasio because he is afraid that de Blasio will make it to the White House. Only a complete and utter idiot would want to see Crooked Cuomo as President. This lastminute dash of testimony against de Blasio is a bit too pat for me. I see Hillary Clinton revisited in this latest revelation about de Blasio. People voted for Donald Trump, and look at the mess that the U.S. is in. De Blasio has proven that he is capable of leadership. Margaret Boyce

Close call

Kew Gardens: Mayor de Blasio: You accuse your accuser of being a liar and a felon. Remember, you are judged by the company you keep.

Gladys Garcia de Birkenhead

The people’s park

Rockaway Beach: To Gov. Cuomo and the private capitalist AP PHOTO/ANDREW HARNIK embezzlement artists with whom Cuomo surrounds himself: Complete hands off the people’s Belmont Park! Stephen Wohl

A cage of apes

Monroe Township, N.J.: I agree with Voicer Richard Martin. Baseball players look like unkempt gorillas, and have tattoos up to their necks. I turned off the World Series a couple of times because of their hairdos. That is why I love the Yankees. They always look presentable.

Dolores Csatlos

Two more men

Manhattan: Voicer Francisco Matos came up with a list of sex predators. Lately their numbers seem to be multiplying. I would like to add two more: Eliot Spitzer and Anthony Weiner.

Marsha Diamond

Find Paul’s assailant

Bronx: On Friday, Oct. 20, at approximately 2 p.m., between 137th St. and Willis Ave., there was a hit-and-run accident. The driver has not been caught. The person hit ended up in critical condition at the Lincoln Hospital intensive care unit. The victim, Paul Daniels, or as he is known in the area “Paulie” or “the white guy who walks the dogs,” has had a tremendous outpouring of prayers and love from friends and family. But we want the person who did this to be caught and held responsible. If anyone has any information, please call the 40th Precinct. We will be truly grateful.

Jean and Peter Daniels
