THANK GOD FOR SUCCESS

says appearing in the new Western series “Godless” is like a dream come true.

“I felt like a little kid,” the British actor (above) told Confidential at the show’s premiere at the Metrograph on the Lower East Side. “There’s pictures of me as a child with a little cowboy hat on. My dad made me a little holster out of gaffer tape and put some stars on it and I had a little cap gun.

“Doing the accent and riding horses and twirling guns, it was pure escapism for me at the end of the day,” the 27-year-old enthused.

Although Brodie-Sangster says he appreciates how guns are made — “they’re very simple and beautifully made things and my character kind of loves them” — he still feels “odd to be twirling them around, even with a blank in it.”

The former child actor — probably best known as Jojen Reed, one of the young voyagers who goes beyond the Wall in “Game of Thrones” — said he had no idea how massive that show was when he signed on.

“I’m still coming to awareness of how big it is,” he said. “When I got the part, I didn’t really comprehend what it was . . . I joined in season three and I don’t think season two had even come out yet, so it was more my friends who let me know who big of a deal it was.”
