DISGRACED Former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar was sentenced Thursday to 60 years in prison in a federal child pornography case after being caught last year with thousands of sexual images of kids on his electronic devices.

The prison term for the 54-yearold perv — also accused of sexually assaulting more than 140 young women under the guise of providing medical treatment — effectively means he will die in prison.

Nassar (photo), also a former Michigan State University doctor, will be sentenced in the sex abuse case on Jan. 12. Olympic gymnasts Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman and McKayla Maroney are among the women who accused the sicko of molesting them when they were teens.

Maroney was in the Michigan courtroom on Thursday.

“He abused my trust, abused my body and left scars on my psyche that may never heal,” Maroney wrote in a sentencing impact statement to the court. Nassar tried to sound contrite. “I hope one day I can be forgiven, and I’m going to take every day of your sentence to try to better myself,” he told Federal Judge Janet Neff, adding that he had a child porn addiction. Neff said Nassar “should never again have access to children.”

He pleaded guilty in July to three federal charges of obtaining and possessing child pornography and destroying computer files to hamper an investigation. Authorities found 37,000 images of child porn on hard drives at Nassar’s home. Police uncovered the images and clips while they were investigating the assault allegations.

Nassar admitted in November to sexually assaulting seven women, primarily at his home and his Michigan State University campus clinic.

USA Gymnastics cut ties with Nassar in 2015, and the university fired him in September 2016.
