2018 Lincoln Navigator

-

For a while, it seemed as though the Lincoln Navigator was doomed. regardless of its lengthy list of merits, the thirsty and expensive Navigator struggled during the recession and concurrent spike in gas prices, especially after a new cadillac Escalade arrived. it seemed as though Lincoln would almost certainly elect to discontinue its full-size luxury SUV.

But then gas prices dropped, and remained low by historical standards. and when that happened, people started buying big, thirsty SUVS again.

Now, for 2018, a completely redesigned Navigator arrives, shedding weight, adding power, and further distancing itself from the Ford Expedition upon which it is based.

a foot longer than the regular Navigator, an extended-length version – the Navigator L – is available for 2018. This model features a longer second row door, storage compartments below the third row floor, as well as increased cargo capacity, resulting in an extra 15 cu. ft. of storage space behind the 3rd row.

The 2018 Navigator wears Lincoln’s new design language, and is offered through the company’s exclusive Black Label purchasing and membership program. Lincoln will even pick the Navigator up for service, and return it to you washed and ready to go.

if that’s not a luxury ownership experience, what is?

What we think

When it comes to leather-lined behemoth SUVS, the cadillac Escalade rules the roost. Few people even know that the Lincoln Navigator still exists, let alone provides a compelling alternative to the ‘Slade. it carries more people in comfort, it hauls greater amounts of cargo, and it tows more trailer weight.

The excellent 2018 Lincoln Navigator appears to be the best of the traditional, full-size luxury SUVS that are priced under $100,000.
