Giants’ O.C. moving on to Denver

-

Mike Sullivan left quite the impression with his play-calling Week 6 in Denver.

The Broncos on Thursday reached an agreement with Sullivan, the Giants’ offensive coordinator the past two seasons, to be Denver’s new quarterbacks coach, according to Mike Klis of 9News.

Sullivan’s first game calling plays for the Giants, when Ben McAdoo handed off the duties with the Giants at 0-5, resulted in a 23-10 Giants’ road win over the Broncos on Oct. 15.

Sullivan’s departure also is noteworthy because Eli Manning’s future with the Giants is up in the air. Sullivan has coached Manning for five of the past seven seasons, and the Broncos are a possible destination for the veteran QB if Manning were to be traded or released to sign.
