A BROOKLYN pizza deliveryman caught a slice of luck early Thursday when he narrowly avoided being crushed by an out-of-control truck driver fleeing the scene of another crash, officials said.

Muzaffarbek Nosirov, who works for Forcella, a restaurant on Lorimer St., had just gotten out of his Toyota on Borinquen Place near Rodney St. in Williamsburg to deliver two pepperoni pizzas at about 3:30 a.m.

A white box truck suddenly rear-ended his vehicle and then vaulted on top of it, smashing the car’s windshield and front end.

“I was at a red light and the truck driver was acting stupid, acting crazy, hitting a car in front of me,” Nosirov told the Daily News.

The deliveryman told police that he saw the truck barreling down the block. He was standing next to his car when the truck plowed into it, he said.

Nosirov said he was scared and confused.

“I stopped my car and got out and walked backward,” he said. “If I stayed in the car he would have hit me. Then he backs up really fast and hits my car.”

Hours after the incident, his head still ached.

“I’m in a little bit of shock. I’m OK, though,” he said. “He would have killed me if I were in the car. I was lucky. Thank God.”

The truck driver had just struck a fence at Public School 319 on Rodney St. and was trying to speed away when he hit a parked car, took down a tree and slammed into building scaffolding, causing a partial collapse.

But the wild ride wasn’t over, witnesses said.

Backing away from the scaffolding, he tore off down Borinquen Place, where he hit several other parked cars and a safety barrier before launching on top of the deliveryman’s Toyota.

Police took the trucker into custody on suspicion of drunken driving.

Nosirov said that the damage to his car may affect his job and his ability to help out his mother and father, who don’t speak English and rely on him.

“I need a car. I can’t work,” he said. “If I can’t make money, I can’t pay rent. I need my insurance to get me a car.”

Police did not file criminal charges against the truck driver. His name was not released. A 10-YEAR-OLD boy was shot to death and his wounded mother remained hospitalized Thursday after a late-night burst of gunfire in Asbury Park, N.J.

Police were seeking a pair of suspects who fled the scene on foot. No arrests were made and no motive provided for the Wednesday shootings.

The mom, 39, suffered a gunshot wound to her leg shortly before 11 p.m., leaving neighbors like Tania Del Balee badly shaken. The woman’s kids often played with the tiny murder victim.

“We won’t hear his laughter again,” Del Balee told the Asbury Park Press. “It was such a shock. As a mother, the first thing that comes to your mind is if your kids are OK.”

Investigators descended on the crime scene after the gunfire at 405 Ridge Ave., about 2 miles from the boardwalk.

“The investigation is still ongoing at this point,” said Chris Swendeman, spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. The slain boy was reportedly a student at Bradley Elementary School. He died at Jersey Shore Medical Center.
