The heaviest Peep weighs 400 pounds

OK, so it’s not actually a marshmallow Peep, but every New Year’s Eve at Peepsfest, an annual two-day festival that takes place in Bethlehem, Pa., revelers celebrate the annual “Chick Drop.” The giant chick — 4 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 400 pounds — descends at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 31 to signal the beginning of the New Year.
