“We have a deep, professional lineup that takes quality at bats and there isn’t really an easy out I don’t think,” he said. “I definitely think we’ll continue to show that throughout the rest of the season.”

Major League Baseball will celebrate Jackie Robinson Day on Sunday and the Mets will have the trailblazing Hall of Famer’s family in attendance for Sunday’s game against the Brewers.

Robinson’s wife, Rachel, daughter, Sharon, and son, David will be representing the Jackie Robinson Foundation and will be joined by Mets great Mookie Wilson to guide a group of young men and women through the Jackie Robinson Rotunda at Citi Field and educate them on Jackie and his legacy.
