Nothing screams summer like boats, waterfront dining and lobster rolls. North River Lobster Company — the floating lobster shack that sets sail from Pier 81 at W. 41st St. and 12th Ave. off the West Side of Manhattan — is back for the season. Guests get access to board for the day for $10, then food and drinks are à la carte. New additions to the menu this year include the Lower East Side Roll ($22.95), inspired by an everything bagel and loaded with lobster, scallion cream cheese, red onions, chives and “everything” seasoning on an everything potato roll. All lobster rolls are served with chips and cole slaw. Wash it down with the new Frozé! Frozé! Frozé! ($15 for a standard-sized cup), a granita made with Cloud Chaser rosé, elderflowe­r, strawberri­es and “secrets,” according to the menu. Sunday at the Brooklyn Expo Center in Greenpoint (72 Noble St.), celebrates spice like no other fest. Admission is $10 (plus fees) and gets you free tastings from hot sauce vendors and some other scheduled events. For $50, guests score admission plus a BBQ lunch platter, four craft beer tokens, a bottle of High River Sauce and an expo poster. There’s also a $100 ticket that gets you into a VIP area, along with compliment­ary cocktails and spirit tastings, craft beers, a taco buffet, free bottle of High River Sauce and a gift bag. Beauty Pageant. House mimosas will also cost $5 and be served in glitzy ball during Disco Brunch, which lasts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For food, order the Disco Balls, priced at $14 for six. Inspired by gravy and cheese-smothered disco fries, they’re a mix of beef, pork, mozzarella, gravy and waffle fries rolled up into spheres.
