Kellyanne has fine whine in hubby hubbub

- Terence Cullen

KELLYANNE CONWAY defended her husband’s sometimes critical tweets about her boss President Trump Sunday — then lambasted a CNN anchor for bringing it up.

Lawyer George Conway has recently made a handful of negative social media posts about President Trump, but the White House adviser argued he “writes a lot of things that are also supportive.”

She then went on to take aim at anchor Dana Bash’s question about the tweets.

“It’s fascinating to me that CNN would go there,” she said. “But it’s very good for the whole world to just witness that it’s now fair game how people’s spouses and significant others may differ with them. I’m really surprised, but very, in some ways, relieved and gratified to see that. That should really be fun.”

Conway accused Bash of trying to “harass and embarrass” her while her children were likely watching at home.

She also said a double standard was in place because a male guest wouldn’t be asked the same question.

But Bash said many people have asked about George Conway’s since-deleted posts.

“My point is that we don’t often see — in fact I don’t remember the last time we saw — somebody working for the President in a high-profile position when their spouse is saying critical things about them,” Bash said. “That’s all.”
