Bust in senior beat
THE CREEP who beat an elderly college professor into a coma at an Upper West Side bank ATM has been busted, police said.
Matthew Lee, 50, stole $300 from the 87-year-old victim after pummeling him at a Citibank branch on Broadway Sunday afternoon, cops said.
The victim, Young Kun Kim, was declared brain dead Tuesday at Mount Sinai Hospital.
“His son tells me he is in a coma and in palliative care,” Lehman College Associate Dean Christopher Malone tweeted Tuesday. Lee is charged with robbery and assault.
