Instead, Pichardo has retaliated against Olivares, according to the complaint. Pichardo, who worked in the building about 40 years, left the company in March — but was not fired.

The complaint said he received a substantial sum of money when he left.

Despite Pichardo’s departure, Olivares said he still suffers job anxiety from working in a hostile environment.

Pichardo and building managers did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Pichardo’s wife said her husband has retired and had problems with Olivares’ work.

“My husband says, ‘This guy making me nuts,’ ” she said.
