TALK ABOUT ganging up.

Two new whacks at the story of the legendary late New York mobster John Gotti — one on TV, the other on film — offer up a double dose of the Dapper Don.

A&E’s two-part Biography documentary “Gotti: Godfather & Son” began airing this weekend.

The movie “Gotti,” which stars John Travolta and dramatizes the rise and fall of the infamous Gambino family crime head, is slated to hit multiplexes Friday.

The film, directed by “Entourage” alum Kevin Connolly, premiered in a single screening last month at the Cannes Film Festival.

Reviews out of the French filmfest described the biopic as “erratic,” “myth-building” and “dull.”

“Gotti” isn’t being screened in advance for U.S. reviewers in order to “fully complete and polish” the film for release, said a rep for the project.

The final version of the film will be barely be ready Friday, the rep added.

Being a no-show for critics is the latest twist for “Gotti,” which has been years in the making and had stars and directors come and go. The movie is drawn from John A. (Junior) Gotti’s self-published memoir, “Shadow of My Father”

The movie was set to open in December. But at the last minute, the premiere was eighty-sixed. The distributor sold the film back to its producers to secure a wider release.

An in-lockup meeting between the godfather and his son, who reveals that he’s considering a plea bargain, appears in both the film and in the A&E doc.

“I was granted a visit to go see my father (in prison),” says Junior in an A&E clip. He is seen being questioned about his manhood by the Teflon Don.

“No matter what they said, I’m my own man, and I wanted to move on with my life,” Junior says.

“My father was very easy to idolize. It’s almost impossible to measure up to a John Gotti,” Junior says in another clip. “I have to either follow my father to the end or protect my family the best way I can.”
