-

Madison Bumgarner blew a sixth inning lead and was ejected on the way out of his second start this season as the Miami Marlins rallied past the San Francisco Giants, 7-5, on Monday night.

J.T. Realmuto had three hits, including his seventh home run of the season and drove in two and Brian Anderson homered, doubled twice, and drove in two runs for the Marlins.

Bumgarner allowed back-to-back hits to begin the sixth with a 4-2 lead. Cameron Maybin hit a sacrifice fly and then Justin Bour walked on four pitches, prompting Bumgarner to voice his displeasure to home plate umpire Jeremie Rehak.

The four-time All-Star was able to convince manager Bruce Bochy to stay in the game, but then immediately allowed a game-tying hit by Lewis Brinson, ending his outing. On his way to the dugout, Bumgarner again had words for Rehak, who ejected him.

Bumgarner, who missed the first two months of the season with a broken pinkie on his left hand, gave up four runs and six hits in 51/3 innings. He walked one while striking out three, throwing 50 of his 91 pitches for strikes.

l Brock Holt and Jackie Bradley Jr. each delivered a sacrifice fly in the 12th inning, and the Red Sox limited the Orioles to five hits in a 2-0 victory in Baltimore.

Though the Red Sox lead the majors in runs and batting average, they managed only four hits through 11 scoreless innings in this one. Steven Wright and five relievers combined for Boston’s fifth shutout of the year.

Xander Bogaerts led off the 12th with a single against Mychal Givens (0-3), and the Red Sox loaded the bases before Holt broke the scoreless deadlock with a fly to center. Bradley followed with a fly ball to score Rafael Devers, who had doubled.

Heath Hembree (3-1) struck out the side in the 11th and Craig Kimbrel got three outs for his 21st save.

BREWERS-RAYS DEAL

The Milwaukee Brewers have acquired infielder Brad Miller from Tampa Bay for first baseman/outfielder Ji-Man Choi and will receive more than $2.2 million from the Rays as part of the trade.

The NL Central-leading Brewers made the deal Sunday and assigned Miller to Triple-A Colorado Springs. He was cut by Tampa Bay on Thursday.

Tampa Bay will send Milwaukee $2,209,677 as part of the trade, which will offset all but $500,000 of the $2,709,677 remaining in Miller’s $4.5 million salary this year.

The 28-year-old Miller was hitting .256 with five home runs and 21 RBI in 48 games for the Rays. The 27-yearold Choi hit .233 with two homers and five RBI in 12 games for Milwaukee.

A rampant Romelu Lukaku scored twice and set up a third goal as Belgium closed its World Cup preparations in style by demolishing Costa Rica, 4-1.

Dries Mertens opened the scoring for the Red Devils before striker Lukaku took his international tally to 36 in 69 matches with a volley and header either side of halftime.

Substitute Michy Batshuayi completed the Belgium scoring in the 64th thanks to a pass from Lukaku.
