Bored after being busted in beating

A baby-faced Trinitarios member who authorities say took part in the stabbing and beating of a man on the Upper East Side two weeks ago was arraigned Friday — and looked bored throughout the procedure.

Missael Alvarez, 16, was among a group of three young men who followed the 46year-old victim as he walked to work on E. 75th St. around 4:40 a.m. on June 18, officials said.

They allegedly hit him in the back of the head, knocked him to the ground and stabbed him while demanding money.

Alvarez fled to Rhode Island but was picked up on a warrant when he returned to the city, according to prosecutors.

In court, the gravity of the incident did not appear to faze Alvarez, who told cops he came to the U.S. from the Dominican Republic eight months ago.

His eyes wandered around the courtroom as the prosecutor described the attack.

At one point he looked up toward the ceiling.

“There is surveillance footage of the defendant and two other young men walking down the street and following the complaining witness both before and after (the attack),” Assistant District Attorney Elizabeth Clerkin told the judge.

Alvarez, who is charged with first-degree attempted robbery, was ordered held on $50,000 bond or $25,000 cash bail by Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Marisol Alonso.

The victim needed seven stitches and “suffered substantial pain,” court papers say.
