A 62-year-old man fatally stabbed his ex-girlfriend inside an East Harlem cellphone store — and then casually walked away to smoke a cigarette, police and witnesses said.

A surveillance video captured the moment Pedro Vinent-Barcia slashed away at the 51-year-old victim inside the East Harlem Wireless at the corner of Third Ave. and E. 123rd St. about noon.

“He just popped out of nowhere,” said Sam Saleh, whose family owns the shop. “The crazy thing is he stabbed her like he didn’t hit anything.”

The suspect displayed an icy calm as he left the scene, Saleh said.

“He walked away like he didn’t do anything, smoking a cigarette outside,” Saleh added.

The unidentified victim was rushed to Harlem Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Cops arrested the man after they found him around the corner, witnesses said. VinentBarcia, who lives a block away from the shop, was charged with murder.

His arraignment was pending Saturday night.
