A Brooklyn judge set $10,000 bail for a boozed-up, unlicensed driver who admitted to fleeing the scene after fatally hitting a hardworking husband, officials said.

Leonel Ortega-Flores was arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court on Sunday for plowing his 2004 GMC Savannah van into Jose Cardoso.

Ortega-Flores admitted he drank about five Coronas on Saturday before jumping behind the wheel around 8 p.m on 21st St. near Fourth Ave. in Greenwood Heights, according to the criminal complaint.

The 35-year-old driver was charged with second-degree vehicular manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, reckless driving and other charges.

Cardoso's body was pinned against a warehouse building that houses Inner-City Electrical Contractors.

The victim's wife told the Daily News that Cardoso, 32, was at work during an overtime shift when the van jumped the curb.

Ortega-Flores admitted he did not have a driver's license at the time of the deadly crash and ran away to his home in the Bronx, according to the criminal complaint.

Ortega-Flores exhibited “signs of intoxication” at the time of his arrest several hours later, according to the criminal complaint.

Cardoso, of Staten Island, was taken to Methodist Hospital, where he died from massive internal injuries.
