Hail to the Giant

- — Eric Barrow

Saquon Barkley is known for eluding attackers, and so is Bill Clinton.

The Giants phenom, fresh off an 18-carry, 106yard rushing debut Sunday that included a 68-yard touchdown run, and the 42nd President met at Cantor Fitzgerald’s Park Avenue offices Tuesday.

The two were on hand to remember those lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Barkley was showing support for the Fred Gabler Helping Hand Camp Fund and Clinton for his own The Clinton Foundation.

It’s been a whirlwind start to Barkley’s NFL career, first the touchdown scamper that showed off his quickness, elusiveness and explosive speed all in one play, and then a photo op with a former president.
