An ode to labor

- Stephen Hill

Bronx: I have worked for the city for 18-plus years and I couldn’t have made it without the union. Dirty politics and favoritism threatens a lot of jobs. My union, DC 37, has been fantastic. Representation is always prompt and professional. Local 371, headed by Anthony Wells and Darek Robinson, has been a blessing. Also, rep Alex Parker is always available to assist staff as well as the rest of the union. Their professionalism and knowledge have saved thousands of jobs. They prevent or stop the bullying workers experience when targeted for personal reasons. All of you who want to slander unions obviously don’t have one. If you did, you would know true job security.
