20 years for shoving vic onto tracks
A sicko who molested an actress on a Greenwich Village subway platform then shoved her onto the tracks was sentenced to two decades in prison Friday.
Kimani Stephenson, 25, who was convicted of assault and sex abuse at trial in July, will also be monitored for five years upon his release.
Victim Bonnie Currie, 23, was on the F train platform at W. 14th St. on April 14, 2017, at around 4 a.m. when Stephenson walked up and grabbed her breast and crotch. When she told him to “f--k off” he pushed her onto the tracks.
“Nothing in me can comprehend that in a split moment, I was then flying full force to the subway tracks,” Currie said at his sentencing in Manhattan Supreme Court.
“I cannot understand why, after I had rejected this complete stranger’s claim to my body, his next thought…was to throw me on the train tracks and leave me there,” she added. “I thought I was going to die.” The victim was treated for a broken wrist and ligament damage.
