Two shot dead in B’klyn apt.
A couple was shot dead in a possible murder-suicide in a Brooklyn apartment early Friday, police said.
The 45-year-old man and 52-year-old woman were found in a second floor apartment on Menahan St. near Wilson Ave. in Bushwick just after 8 a.m., cops said. A gun was next to man’s body, sources said.
The woman was a home health aide assisting a bedridden woman on the third floor, cops said. The dead man was her boyfriend and worked as a livery cab driver.
Neighbors said the woman worked three 24-hour days and would swap with another aide, who discovered the bodies.
David Villegas, 47, cleans the building twice a week. I don’t know her personally like that but she’s very friendly.”
Junior Valentin, who lives across the street, said he met the victim’s son and her grandchildren. “Nice lady. Nice person. When I heard this I went down, my sister calls me, I was shocked,” he said. “I thought it was the other home attendant. But no, it was (the victim).”
Cops towed away the man’s livery car as part of the probe.
The pair’s names were not immediately released.
