Punk slashes 2 men & steals their tools
A robber armed with a box cutter slashed two Brooklyn laborers taking the subway to work and stole their tools, cell phone and cash, cops said Wednesday.
The crook confronted the victims — two men, ages 30 and 47 — on a Manhattan-bound Q train near the Ave. M station in Midwood about 4 a.m. Friday, police said.
He pulled a box-cutter and demanded the tools they were carrying. “Give me your stuff,” he said in Spanish.
He slashed them in the chest, back, face and arms before taking the tools, cell phones and $200 in cash they were carrying.
Medics took the older victim to Maimonides Hospital and the younger man to Kings County Hospital. They were both in stable condition.
Police released a surveillance photo Wednesday of a man entering a subway station they want to question and asked for the public’s help tracking him down.
He is described as Hispanic and in his 20s with long black hair. He was wearing a dark hat, dark jacket and blue jeans.
