Schiff sez Don could go to jail

Being in office may be keeping Trump out of jail, according to the top Democrat on the Select Intelligence Committee.

“There’s a very real prospect that on the day Donald Trump leaves office the Justice Department may indict him,” Rep. Adam Schiff told CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

Federal prosecutors this week requested heavy prison time for the President’s former fixer Michael Cohen, who confessed he and Trump “acted in coordination” during the 2016 election to buy the silence of a porn star and a Playboy model who’d allegedly had flings with Trump.

Former national security adviser Michael Flynn is cooperating with Robert Mueller’s probe into possible collusion between the Trump’s campaign and Russia. Trump tweeted Friday this news somehow vindicates him.

“Totally clears the President. Thank you!” he wrote.
