Dead Google guy found by janitor
The Google programmer found dead inside the company’s Chelsea headquarters was first discovered at his desk by a night janitor, police sources said.
Scott Krulcik, 22, was hired over the summer after being a software engineering intern for the company since 2016.
The young employee didn’t seem to have any injuries or drugs on him when he was found on the sixth floor Friday about 9 p.m., police sources said.
Krulcik, a Carnegie Mellon University graduate, moved to the West Village from Pennsylvania with a fellow classmate in November, neighbors said.
Friends were shocked by his sudden death, including one who said he shared high school engineering classes with Krulcik.
Krulcik also interned at WhatsApp for Facebook, according to his online résumé.
An autopsy has been slated to determine how Krulcik died.
