‘SNL’ star’s disturbing message

“Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson shared an alarming Instagram post about his mental state Saturday, shortly after he praised Kanye West for spreading awareness about mental health.

“I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” Davidson wrote 1:14 p.m. “I’m doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don’t know how much longer i can last. All i’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember i told you so.”

Afterward, the comedian’s Instagram page was taken down.

Davidson (photo) was confirmed to be at the “SNL” offices for work Saturday after the distressing post went online, a source told the Daily News. Also, police said they made contact with Davidson, and that he was OK.

Earlier in the day, the comedian, 25, had praised rapper West for opening up about mental health in a tweet directed at Ariana Grande, Davidson’s former fiancée. Davidson wrote on Instagram that he “can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this.”

Grande on Thursday had referenced a war of words between West and fellow rapper Drake, encouraging people to check out her new music while the two stars were feuding.

“All of this foolishness weighed on my mental health so @ArianaGrande you know I got love for you but until you’re ready to really make sure everyone’s ok don’t use me or this moment to promote a song,” West tweeted Saturday.

Following Davidson’s post, Grande said she never meant to hurt anyone.

“Man i’m so sorry i told a dumb joke,” the singer tweeted Saturday. “i really didn’t mean any harm. All i want everyone to be healthy and happy. So desperately. Please. My god.”

She went on to express her support for Davidson, to whom she got engaged in June following several weeks of dating. Davidson and Grande broke off the engagement in October.
