Thief hits 88-yr.-old in her apt.

A coldhearted crook busted into an 88-yearold woman’s Brooklyn apartment Christmas morning, knocking her to the floor and demanding cash, police said.

The burglar pushed his way into the Luybov Faynshteyn’s apartment on W. 25th St. near Surf Ave. in Coney Island’s Haber Houses just after 7 a.m. Tuesday.

He punched her in the face as he demanded cash and started rifling through her dresser drawers and jewelry box. He shoved her to the floor but when she bravely cried out, he ran off, cops said.

The quick-thinking senior activated her Life Alert, which summoned EMS, then police, to her apartment.

Medics took the woman to Coney Island Hospital. It’s not clear if the robber took anything before he fled.
