Thief hits 88-yr.-old in her apt.

A coldhearte­d crook busted into an 88-yearold woman’s Brooklyn apartment Christmas morning, knocking her to the floor and demanding cash, police said.

The burglar pushed his way into the Luybov Faynshteyn’s apartment on W. 25th St. near Surf Ave. in Coney Island’s Haber Houses just after 7 a.m. Tuesday.

He punched her in the face as he demanded cash and started rifling through her dresser drawers and jewelry box. He shoved her to the floor but when she bravely cried out, he ran off, cops said.

The quick-thinking senior activated her Life Alert, which summoned EMS, then police, to her apartment.

Medics took the woman to Coney Island Hospital. It’s not clear if the robber took anything before he fled. Faynshteyn’s neice, arina Fedorovsky, ld PIX 11 her aunt ffered bruises, and a oken facial bone, and ill likely need rgery. She left her door ightly ajar for her me health aide when e robber pushed in, e told PIX 11. “He st hit her so badly, but e was able to push at button… It was on e table, so she was le to get to the table.” The front door lock the NYCHA building as been broken for out a month, resients told the Daily ews. Police describe the robber as black, in his 40s and about 6-feet-4 and 200 pounds.
