Sex attack susp busted

A suspect has been arrested in the sexual assault of a woman in her Queens building, cops said Monday.

Jose Montes, 32, was busted Saturday for allegedly attacking a 56year-old victim inside her building near 165th St. and Sanford Ave. in Flushing about 2 a.m. Dec. 18, police said.

He walked up to her and punched her in the face several times before sexually assaulting her, according to cops.

The victim was treated and released from a local hospital.

Cops released surveillance images and video of the suspect (photo) shortly after the attack.

Montes, who lives in Jackson Heights, is charged with sex abuse, assault and forcible touching. He was ordered held on $30,000 bond.

He has no prior criminal record, cops said.
