Man seriously injured by hit-run driver in Brooklyn

A hit-and-run driver severely injured a pedestrian in Brooklyn early Monday — slamming into the man as he crossed a street.

The 27-year-old victim was hit while crossing near the intersecti­on of 51st St. and Third Ave. in Sunset Park.

He was struck about 12:30 a.m, officials said. The driver fled the scene.

Medics rushed the victim to NYU Langone Brooklyn in critical condition. His name was not released.

His condition was later upgraded to stable with a broken leg and a crushed pelvis.

Cops did not immediatel­y have a descriptio­n of the car and have made no arrests.
